New cybersecurity solution from Stratsys and Intil - developed with support from MSB and NCC-SE

Written by Clara Westman | Apr 9, 2025 8:49:18 AM
Stratsys, in collaboration with the risk and cybersecurity company Intil and with funding from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) and Sweden's National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity Research and Innovation (NCC-SE), has completed a joint development project. The result is new functionality in the Stratsys platform that strengthens organizations' cybersecurity through automation, smart data collection and integrated risk management - where Intil's vulnerability analysis is now a natural part.

The new solution empowers organizations to be more proactive about cybersecurity. By collecting data from self-assessments, third-party scans and real-time sources, an up-to-date and dynamic risk picture is created - across both the organization itself and its external parties. The solution enables more efficient due diligence processes, continuous monitoring and automated improvement suggestions.

- We create a platform where companies can act directly on security challenges, with automated risk assessments and concrete action proposals, says Max Kollberg, GRC Lead at Stratsys.

As part of the project, Stratsys has also integrated vulnerability scanning from cybersecurity company Intil. This adds further insights into the real-time threat landscape and strengthens the ability to quickly identify gaps - both in internal systems and in the supply chain.

NIS2 and DORA compliance

The solution helps organizations comply with regulations such as NIS2 and DORA by combining multiple data sources - including self-assessments in Stratsys, current threat intelligence, and third-party scans from Intil. The combined information picture provides an automated process for monitoring, incident management and remediation, making it easier to identify gaps and act in time. The result is a more efficient, continuous and risk-based approach to compliance.

- Being part of a project that puts supply chain security in focus is both important and timely. Through the integration with the Stratsys platform, our insights on threats and vulnerabilities can be translated into concrete action - something that strengthens cybersecurity in both the public sector and business," says Mina Nadjafi, co-founder Intil.

Insights from the project

The project has clearly shown that effective cybersecurity requires a combination of technology and a strong security culture in the organization. Simplicity and clarity of the solution has been crucial to create real value. A particularly important insight is how critical the supply chain is to the security of organizations - and how often it is overlooked in traditional security work.

The new functionality is now available in the Stratsys platform for both existing and new customers. As a Swedish SaaS solution with data storage in Sweden, it provides strong support for organizations that want to take control of their cybersecurity work and meet the demands of future resilience.
