What does Åpenhetsloven mean

Åpenhetsloven (the Transparency Act) is a Norwegian law that entered into force in 2022 and applies to large companies operating in Norway. The law sets clear requirements for both risk assessment and reporting to ensure responsible behavior:

  • Identify, prevent and manage risks
  • Report annually on actions and results
  • Ensure that information is available and transparent to stakeholders.

Process and workflow support

Follow predefined steps in the process and get a clear overview. The workflow dynamically adapts to identified risk levels, ensuring that relevant steps are included. The final assessment can be reviewed for both individual and all suppliers.

Analysis and reports

Analyze and follow up on individual suppliers, supplier categories, specific issues and risk areas. Create clear reports that meet the requirements of Åpenhetsloven and get a structured overview of the entire due diligence process.

Integration with warning and sanction lists

Conduct supplier screening against all major warning and sanction lists, as well as several national sanction lists and PEP lists.

Objective and automatic assessment of SAQs

The self-assessment forms consist of multiple-choice questions to provide you with the most relevant information possible. The system generates an automatic assessment of the supplier's risk level.
